We are pleased to announce that Matermental, in collaboration with SaneDrive and the Adolescent Health and Wellness Foundation (AHWF), has been awarded a prestigious 2026 Brain Awareness Week Grant from the IBRO (International Brain Research Organization) and the Dana Foundation, alongside 44 countries across Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Canada/USA.
This grant places Nigeria on the global stage, highlighting our dedication to advancing neuroscience education, mental health, and Community health.
This initiative, which focuses on addiction science, will empower adolescents, youth, families, and the wider community with essential knowledge about the brain, the science behind addiction, and relatable knowledge that supports prevention, early intervention, and community healing.
